Some comments about the artificial lure device we bought from Petri last summer:
It has worked wonderfully really, we have the motorcycle battery which is light and the whole unit fits in a small backpack. The reel we have on ours is not metal but hard plastic and so far so good ...has been strong enough even after a drop on the ground.
The fake "bunny" attached to the end of the string is pretty light, only a rabbit skin ...about 100g max. The device currently runs way faster than the greyhounds and on deep snow/ grass aswell. There is a also a metal hoop which makes sure the "bunny" can't pass and continue to rotate around the plastic wheel, so no googles/glasses needed.
All in all , thumbs up.
